CHARISM STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) provides academic enrichment opportunities during out of school time for children. Programming runs throughout the school year Monday – Thursday from school dismissal to 5 PM.
Nutritious snacks and transportation are provided – caring mentors provide a safe encouraging atmosphere for children to learn and grow.
The program helps students meet state and local education standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers other life skill development activities so they are able to grow as students and as individuals.
CHARISM will work with over 250 students throughout the year partnering with five schools – Carl Ben Eielsson and Cheney Middle School, Ed Clapp, Jefferson, and Lewis & Clark Elementary Schools.
