Giving to CHARISM

The programs and services at CHARISM provide a friendly and nurturing atmosphere for the under-served at no cost to our participants. Maintaining these programs in both the McCormick Park and Stonebridge neighborhoods requires a steady source of funding. Although financial support is partially provided through grants, individual and corporate donations play a considerable role.

Community Outreach Programs

	Crockpots for cooking meals at community events
	Cookware (ex. pots, pans, mixing bowls)
	Paperware for events (ex. paper plates, napkins, paper cups)
	Home supplies (ex. laundry detergent, bath and dish towels, tooth brushes, toothpaste, and dish soap)

Youth Development Programs

	Prepaid grocery cards to buy healthy after-school snacks
	Prepaid gas cards to fill the CHARISM van that takes youth to and from activities every day

Refugee Outreach Programs

	Gift cards to local grocery stores for families in need
	Laundry detergent for washing clothes
	Notebooks, pens and pencils, and two-pocket folders for the adult English as a Second Language classes
